Our scalable approach takes advantage of existing school data networks by streamlining
bell schedules, bringing network precision to clocks, and delivering audio paging
and streaming video.
Our 2-way intercom feature allows classrooms to talk directly to the front desk,
principal’s office, and other designated areas and even offers hands – free operation
with additional settings.
Classroom control provides a web interface on each teacher PC giving control of
room volume and projectors. When paired with our video delivery feature, teachers
have accessibility to shared resources such as DVD players, satellite receivers,
cable boxes and DVR's located in the library or media headend.
The security feature in AMX SchoolView provides campuses the opportunity to access
IP– based motion JPEG networked cameras on the touch panel, access control to open
doors remotely, panic buttons in the classroom, and email alerts when an alarm is
triggered.
The energy savings tool gives schools complete control of which PCs are powered
down with the capability to customize zones. Prior to powering down, each PC displays
a pop-up prompt to allow teachers or students the ability to request more time.
Deliver streamed video directly to each classroom through various shared resources
such as DVD players, satellite receivers and cable boxes. With the remote video
broadcast feature campuses can deliver video broadcasts from any location on campus
through any standard network connection.
Schedule times or send important messages as needed straight from the touch panel
interface without complicated third party digital signage software.
In the event of an emergency (lockdown/weather/fire) the emergency alert feature
can power all projection systems and show an alert graphic with a custom text crawl
specific to the emergency and send an all clear when needed.
